Great Bentley Cricket Club
GBCC is one of the oldest cricket clubs in England.
We are a growing club playing on the historic Green at Great Bentley where cricket has been played for over 250 years.
The club is proud to promote cricket to all ages, abilities, girls and boys. We have a thriving inclusive youth section with U11’s, U12’s, U14’s and U15’s teams that play mid-week evenings and Sunday mornings.
Youth training is Friday evenings between late April and August starting at 5.30pm and 8pm depending on softball and hardball abilities. All girls and boys are welcome including parents who can enjoy refreshments from the club house bar.
Our senior team is an inclusive mix of progressive youth players and adults currently playing in the Two Counties Sunday League One. The senior team also plays a number of social friendlies against local teams. Senior practice is mid-week using our two nets on the Green.

We have a fully licensed bar run by the club for both players and non-playing members that opens throughout the season overlooking the beautiful 43 acre Green.

The club is proud to promote cricket to all ages, abilities, girls and boys. We have a thriving juniors section with soft and hard ball teams that play match throughout the week and train Friday evenings during the cricket season.

Every Friday evening from mid-April Youth training is on the Green.
Matches are played regularly on a Saturday & Sunday through late Spring, Summer and early Autumn.
